After his initial studies at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City, Moises studied arranging with Don Nelligan at the Los Angeles Valley College. At the Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma, he had the honor to study with Dr. Ruth Slenczynska. He also studied under Dr. Digby Bell at the University of Oklahoma in the graduate piano program. Moises received his Masters Degree in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Moises has performed with several International Popular Music Legends as Wayne Newton, The Buck Ram’s Platters, Jon Secada , Lani Misalucha, Niccola de Bari, Maria Conchita Alonso, Rocio Durcal , Amanda Miguel and Diego Verdaguer, Ricardo Ceratto, Ricardo Montaner, Guadalupe Pineda, Gualberto Castro, Armando Manzanero, Lupita D’Alessio, Alberto Vasquez, El Tri, Los Hermanos Zavala, Estela Nuñez, Rocio Banquells, Sentidos Opuestos, Daniela Romo, Veronica Castro, Carlos Lico, Amparo Montes, Pepe Jara, El Cuarteto Heman, and conducted recording sessions and concert tours for the Mexican Icon Grammy nominee Juan Gabriel.
As a jazz pianist he has performed leading his own trio and playing with jazz groups and jazz big bands in the USA and in Mexico.
Moises has been music director for several churches such as the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fayetteville, AR, and the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV where he served as pianist and arranger.
As an educator he served in the public school system in Mexico City, and as a professor at the music academy for the Musician’s Union in Mexico City. He has been a piano instructor at UNLV and also he is music teacher at the Coral Academy of Science in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is now performing, arranging and teaching in the Las Vegas Nevada area.
